Module 4: Honomū Goat Dairy
Field visit to the Honomū Goat Dairy. Meet owners Ed and Mary, and some of the baby goats! We will get the opportunity to review the steps of value-added production on-site, from farm to shipping. Honomū Goat Dairy is the only herd of registered, purebred, Nubian goats producing specialty cheeses in the State of Hawaiʻi!

Honomū Goat Dairy
The Honomu Goat Dairy sits on nearly 15 acres of beautiful Hamakua Coast, overlooking the ocean. Honomu Goat Dairy is the only herd of registered, purebred, Nubian goats producing specialty cheeses in the State of Hawaiʻi. The St. Isidore herd also provides milk for The Hula Girl Soap Co. and the Hula Momma Candy Co.

Anthony Florig
Anthony serves as Hoʻōla Farms’ Groundwork to Grow program manager and is also the founder and owner of Big Island Box.
Experts
Mary Henning
Mary is a graduate of the Ecole Chocolat Professional School of Chocolate Arts. She is Honomū Goat Dairy’s confections expert and product manager. Basically, she’s the brains of Honomū Goat Dairy’s operations!
