Experts
Jake Rodrique
Jake Rodrique is the Farm Manager at the College of Agriculture Forestry and Natural Resources Management at University of Hawaii at Hilo.
Jake has both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UH Hilo in agriculture. Originally from Maui, Jake always enjoyed spending time in nature, which is how his budding interest in cultivation began. The agriculture program at Lahainaluna High School where Jake went was strong, and allowed him to experience growing and caring for a diverse range of plants and animals. He went on to attend UH Hilo for his undergraduate degree, and then again for his Master’s degree. Jake’s hard work and passion landed him a job at the UH Hilo Agriculture Farm Laboratory, where he currently serves as Farm Manager.
