At Ho`ōla Farms, we understand the importance of ensuring our kūpuna have access to fresh, locally sourced food. Through our Kūpuna Market Program, we have collaborated with a variety of local partners and generous donations to provide kūpuna with vouchers to shop our online farmers market, Hawai’i Farm-to-Car, and the convenience of local food delivery.
2021-2022: Enrolled Kūpuna Market members (seniors age 60 and over) received $40 to be used bi-weekly over 9 months to purchase local produce, bread, dairy, frozen meat, and non-perishable pantry items through Hawaiʻi Farm-to-Car, our weekly online farmers market.
2023-2024: We held an 8-week Kūpuna Holiday Food Program from December 4th, 2023, to January 29th, 2024. Participating Mohouli Heights residents were eligible to register for a free $100 voucher to shop at our Hawai’i Farm-to-Car online farmers market. Funds for this program were intended to increase kūpuna awareness and access to local food. (89 participants)

Mohouli Heights Senior Residence
Hawai’i Farm-to-Car now delivers every Wednesday to Mohouli Heights Senior Residence! Shop local produce, bread, dairy, frozen meat, and non-perishable pantry items through our online farmers market and we will bring your order right to your door. We accept SNAP and DA BUX Double Up Food Bucks, which means you will automatically receive a 50% discount on local produce when you pay with SNAP.

Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP)
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) created the Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) to provide low-income kūpuna with eligible foods through farmers’ markets, roadside stands, and community-supported agriculture (CSA) programs.
Our online farmers market Hawai’i Farm-to-Car accepts SFMNP coupons. To use your coupons – please create a free account, shop online during our market hours, and when you are ready to confirm your order please write “Using SFMNP coupons $XX” in the note section (replace the $XX with the dollar value of coupons you’d like to use towards your order). We will collect the Signed coupons when you come to pick up your order.
