Are you a Veteran or Caregiver interested in the GoFarm Hawaii AgXcel program? Hoʻōla Farms provides scholarships to Veterans and Caregivers who are accepted.
How it works:
GoFarm Hawaii AgXcel is a 6-month training for commercial agriculture production. The format consists of classroom-style lectures (in-person and online), hands-on practical work days at the training farm, and field trips to operational farms.
GoFarm’s program pathway begins with participants enrolling in a series of prerequisite courses before advancing to the AgXcel program. Veterans or caregivers interested in joining start by signing up through GoFarm, starting with AgCurious, followed by AgXposure. Upon successful completion, participants can apply for the AgXcel program.
GoFarm will send us an email with accepted Veterans or caregivers to request scholarships from Ho`ōla Farms. After reviewing their DD214 forms, we compile an approved list and forward it to GoFarm, accompanied by payment for their scholarships.
